Scare-V-Knave
Position in Crew:
Quartermaster, Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Plank Spanker
History:
Born in the late 1680s, Scare was the opulent son of a wealthy officer aboard the British Warship, the HMS Ossory (later Prince) - a grandiose vessel commissioned to protect the lives and principals of the newly restored British parliament, and the sovereign of the Isles.
Scare was a prodigal child in love with his baroque guitar, an obsession witch filled his formative years with the art of 'guitar stunts’ and baroque guitar wankery. He wowed gentry ashore and crew at sea alike with his talents and showmanship, but still it was not enough for him. The Fates had in store for him, a darker path…His search for more extreme riffs and licks involving the diminished fifth lead him to seek out an afinity with the infernal.
Opiates, the devils music and numerous affairs with the wives and daughters of many of the colonised nations forced an order for royal execution. On the night before dying he was helped to flee by the princesses aboard their pink and green ketch. Days at sea surrounded by his conquests were shear-debauched paradise for Scare and much fine linen and silks were eternally soiled.
Alass this respite did not last long, as his gallant escape plot was almost foiled but with the luck of the devil he made his contested escape... the beautiful maidens however were lost to the sea...
No-one knows the events between that night and his arrival with the skull branded pirates. That is a story even Scare will not evoke.
